Life is so good right now!

..even as I type this short blog entry, I'm glancing out the window to see Murphy wallerin' in the wet grass on his back & Stein proudly "waterin" my potted plants (thanks bud!)

& thank you Lord for the wonderful rain!! (my water bill thanks you too.)

It's been a great week so far & the weekend is lookin' pretty good :)

gonna spend a few days in wilmington with chris & sarah chillin out by the pool & workin on my tan...

since I was told this past weekend that i'm lookin a bit "white" for this time of year..gotta redeem myself!

Matt & I finally made it to the beach for the first time this year! Normally by now, we'd already have 2-3 trips under our belt. It was a much needed "getaway" & we even managed to enjoy a few hours with some awesome friends we don't get to see nearly enough :)

enjoyin' what's left of the pier..for some reason I watched these guys almost all day :)

minimal entertainment required for me as long as I'm sittin' near the water!

we pretty much refused to move our stuff back once the tide came in...we had a front row seat & yes, everyone had to walk around us & our stuff! we were definitely those people!

good food, good people, good spirits!

couldn't tell ya the name of this band, but they were awesome!

they played almost any song we could request...willy, waylon, merle, charlie..etc!

we kept 'em busy & tipped 'em well :)
