This weekend was pretty laid back & relaxin' :)
which was nice since all I want to do lately is relax!
Friday evening we grilled with Bobby & Meredith! It was nice to catch up since we hadn't hung out with them since their wedding (may 21). We had alot to catch up on! & they did all the preparin & cooking, so that was really nice too :) I'm all about "takin it easy" lately!
Saturday consisted of cleaning the house, eating out for Mama's birthday & a visit to the funeral home. My great-aunt Iva went home to be with her Lord. She was such a sweet lady! About 5-6 years ago I lived two houses down from Aunt Iva & she would always come over & feed Murphy LOTS of treats! I'm not sure who loved who the most! She will truly be missed by many ♥
Sunday was interesting...
we started our day with some breakfast in dunn & a quick trip to Lowe's for big trash bags (see, i told you it was interesting) ha!
Once we got home I decided to chill out in the pool for a bit...it was pretty nice! Next we took the dogs for a swim in the pond...mistake! Normally this would be an uneventful occasion..some would even call it relaxing!
but not Sunday..
we had a guest visitor that joined us...a little black puppy from "the woods" that aggravated Murphy to the point of growling (it takes alot for this to happen!) Every time we'd throw Murphy's stick, that lil puppy would bite his tail & try to jump on his back to catch a ride! Poor fella! I was extremely proud of both he & Stein for "keepin their cool" with this puppy :) Next came the thunder...so we loaded up & headed home..b/c we all know how Murphy gets during storms! As we headed home Matt notices that Stein is jumpin around crazy-like in the bed of the truck & Murphy is nowhere to be seen! (no, he didn't fall out of the truck.) We stopped to find Murphy having a horrible seizure, and then another, and then rain! We musta been a sight! He finally "came out of it" & we were able to get outta the rain & get home! Once home...we stayed home :) & rented a movie to end our eventful day!
Today was our first official ultrasound & 10 week appt! Everything went great! Dr. Flanagan said our lil' peanut looks perfect :) We really like her & although we still have to meet the other 5 doctors with the group, I hope she's the one to deliver our baby!

the toy Matt brought home for "me", since he saw me playing it in Cracker Barrel & thought I would like one! Isn't that sweet?...the only thing is, he can't put it down long enough for me to play it :)

If you could take a peek inside your womb, you'd spot minute details, like tiny nails forming on fingers and toes (no more webbing) and peach-fuzz hair beginning to grow on tender skin.
I can't believe "she" already has peach-fuzz! That's so sweet! ♥
Our new neighbors have an 8 month old precious baby boy! His name is Tyler :)
Tyler's mommy Amy was sweet enough to lend me this book..so far it's very interesting..with lots of "interesting" pictures :)
