spring fever :)

today is definitely one of those days that make me ready for spring to hurry & get here!!

the sunshine & warm temps won't stick around long, but it sure was nice to drive home from my doctor's appt without turning on the heat :) i can't wait for this spring & our first family vacation! so excited!!!

my doctor's appt went well (35 weeks)...everything measured good...weight up 4 more lbs, but doc said nothing about it, so neither did i! i am now beginning my weekly visits, so i will be hopefully start to make some kinda progress in the near future :) while i was waiting to see the doc today i found a pic & tore it out of the magazine (i hate when people do this..ha!) to use as my "focal point" during labor! i'm hoping it'll calm me & help me relax :)

last week marked 34 weeks & of course, another belly pic!

our little punkin is definitely growing fast & even though we are sooo ready to meet her, i'm still kinda content keeping her all to my self for a little while longer :)

belly pic & banana peels

i'm not sure what's going on lately but on two separate occasions in the past week i have returned to my car to find a nasty banana peel on the ground right in front of my drivers side door?!?

& i know these banana peels were not there when i exited my vehicle b/c i would have noticed! (& probably slipped on them)

between "certain people" being hateful this week & the banana peels...i'm beginning to think someone's out to get me! (those "certain people" is one person in particular that will remain nameless, but thankfully is no relation)

we also have another belly pic...32 weeks! this pic is already a week & a half old, but is still post-worthy :)

i had another appt yesterday which went very well! although i had gained 4 lbs since my last visit, dr. roche said it was ok due to the holidays :) (she's my new favorite) she also said that she thought we were gonna have a pretty big baby! i measured exactly right on track (33 weeks) so i'm not sure why she thinks that..but she's the expert, so i guess i should mentally prepare for a big girl :) the last ultrasound i had was about 4-5 weeks ago & lil' miss was in the 65%, so maybe that's why she said it? i've told matt all along that i thought she would weigh 8lbs1oz. his guess is 6lbs7oz...he's way off, i just know it!

a few other highlights from my day (once i got through a horrible morning that i'm not gonna waste anymore time talking about)...

 *had the sweetest patient give me $5 to put in our daughter's first piggy bank & told me to make sure we raised her to know the Lord ♥

he was definitely put in my path for a reason this morning :)

 *i bought myself a belly band! (why oh why haven't i purchased this sooner?!) it's absolutely fabulous!!! back pain relief...finally :)

*the best highlight of my day was to come home & read that my friend, hillarie, is still fighting! she had a stroke on christmas eve & was taken off life support 3 days ago. the doctor's told the family she would live about an hour. 3 days later hillarie is still alive! i know the Lord will take her in His time. please say a prayer for hillarie & her family ♥
